Several weeks’ ago on an episode of Cocktail Investing, hosts Chris Versace and Lenore Hawkins bantered about the many strategic moves Amazon was making — the acquisition of Whole Foods, the Echo Wand, Amazon Wardrobe and more. At the time, Chris pointed out the one thing missing was booze. Well, he spoke too soon, as the company has recently launched its Next brand of wines with King Vintners.

We tried ordering a couple of bottles to try during the next recording of Cocktail Investing — but unfortunately, they don’t currently ship to Tematica’s worldwide headquarters in Virginia. We’ll keep you posted once we get our hands on some and give it a try.  This thematic investing stuff can be hard work.

In the meantime, have a listen to the excerpt of the podcast about Amazon below, and be sure to head over to iTunes to subscribe to the podcast as well.
