Willing to fy 30,000 feet up on a battery?
It’s one thing to drive an electric car on a daily basis and run the risk of the battery running out . . . but what about being 30,000 fee up in the air with a battery keeping your plane aloft?

Some of the world’s industrial giants, NASA and a handful of pioneering airlines are plunging headlong into developing commercially viable electric-power airplanes, aiming to come up with a Tesla of the skies.
The flip-side of the electric-powered cars and planes is a Scarce Resources play — and we’re not talking about shorting oil in this case, but rather the amount of rare earth metals like lithium, cobalt and graphite required to manufacturer all of these rechargeable batteries is only going to come under more pressure.
